Freightliner LLC, headquartered in Portland, Oregon and a division of Daimler Trucks North America, is the leading heavy-duty truck manufacturer in North America. Freightliner produces and markets Class 3-8 vehicles under the Freightliner, Sterling, Western Star, American LaFrance, and Thomas Built Buses nameplates and is a company of DaimlerChrysler, the world's leading commercial vehicle manufacturer.
Freightliner has successfully implemented TabWare EFx as the maintenance software solution for its parts manufacturing plant located in Gastonia, NC. The Gastonia Parts Manufacturing Plant began operations in 1979 and today employs over 1,200 people. The plant produces cab and chassis parts for Freightliner LLC's truck manufacturing operations and parts distribution centers. TabWare EFx was implemented in a fast-track mode in less than three months at Gastonia. All of the employees at the plant have access to the TabWare Web Work Request function allowing a work order request to be entered directly into the TabWare database without having to log into the TabWare application.
Huber Engineered Materials (HEM) transforms engineered minerals and specialty chemicals into solutions designed to improve the performance of consumer and industrial products. HEM uses TabWare for maintenance and inventory management across all their sites in the United States. Huber Engineered Woods LLC (HEW), is a producer of high-performance specialty wood products used for both construction and industrial markets. HEW uses TabWare for maintenance and inventory management at their manufacturing plants located in Maine, Georgia, Virginia, Tennessee and Oklahoma.

The New York Times uses TabWare EFX to maintain their printing operations in various locations.
Black & Decker uses TabWare in their North American operations to gain better control of MRO costs related to critical equipment, operators, inventory/spares and purchasing.
Wheelabrator's independent power plants generate electricity using a variety of fuels including waste wood, tires, waste coal, and natural gas. In addition to producing electricity, some of these facilities also produce steam that is sold to nearby government or commercial establishments.
This plant, which produces more than 30 percent of the aluminum cans in North America, is using TabWare for its purchasing, invoicing, maintenance and inventory modules. Since implementing TabWare, significant benefits have been realized, including improved resource allocation, more efficient management of work backlog, reduced costs due to more effective maintenance planning and increased flexibility in integrating maintenance with other business processes.
